We drove down onto the beach and parked, then walked from Grover Beach to Pismo Beach |
the tide was a minus tide so you could see all the barnacles |
we didn't realize that there were some caves at the end of Pismo Beach |
someone had inscribed this from the moss on the rock |
looking out from in the cave |
this was inscribed in the cave, I assume it is a family vacation every year...next month is their other mark |
this spot is just around the corner in one of the caves, and I found alot of colored glass |
walked up 100 steps to go to Marie Calendars for a piece of pie |
my pie was caramel apple cream cheese pie |
dad's was razzleberry pie |
this is where we sat and ate our pie |
this looks like a fire on the hill, but really it is the sun shining on the house windows |
VW bus at the beach, was cute |
we were going to eat dinner at our new Olive Garden in SLO, but they weren't open yet, so we ate here |
