Sisters weekend

Spent most of the day at Solvang, we went down memory lane with our Mother's spirit with us

The BEST pancakes

so light and airy, yummy

Jan had to be different, she had corn beef hash and eggs

trying on cool shades

alot of bling on these glasses, sparkles, alittle blurry

where we ate breakfast

the bread truck, we use to have one come to our house and deliver bread and donuts, when we were young

Jan trying out Mike's motorcycle

Susan got a very special NASA award the 18th of this month, very cool

and this picture is for Heather, in remembrance of her Grandmother (couldn't find the picture, where Heather was only a baby sitting in this very clog, with grandma and Annette)

Wreath

I finally got my wreath done...the music was from a book that was given to me from my sisters, a few of the songs in the song book were played at my mom's memorial, so I saved those, and decided to use the other pages in this wreath, I liked how it turned out...one project completed.

Kernville

Nova's son, Steve & Megan...September 22, 2012

The Lodge at Painted Rock, where the wedding was held

The Motel we stayed at in Kernville, very woodsy, the walls were wood panels, very cute

Our drive on Sunday going home, we drove along the Kern River, so beautiful

Miner's company BBQ

I know dad's looks better than mine, but mine was good too

dad and Wally, Wally has worked at Miner's for 58 years, he is in his late 80's and still works there

sorry this is sideways, but they had these nuts on a dowel and they had to stack them on top of each other, one by one without it tumbling down

watermelon eating contest, I mainly put this one up for Clark, to see if he recognized anyone

a very beautiful place, it was a perfect afternoon!!! And of course an okay BBQ as a Miner's day!
