Wreath

I finally got my wreath done...the music was from a book that was given to me from my sisters, a few of the songs in the song book were played at my mom's memorial, so I saved those, and decided to use the other pages in this wreath, I liked how it turned out...one project completed.

Miner's company BBQ

I know dad's looks better than mine, but mine was good too

dad and Wally, Wally has worked at Miner's for 58 years, he is in his late 80's and still works there

sorry this is sideways, but they had these nuts on a dowel and they had to stack them on top of each other, one by one without it tumbling down

watermelon eating contest, I mainly put this one up for Clark, to see if he recognized anyone

a very beautiful place, it was a perfect afternoon!!! And of course an okay BBQ as a Miner's day!

Tarwater/Bond reunion

We went to Modesto to our Tarwater/Bond family reunion...met some real fine Christian relatives, had a wonderful time reminiscing of old times, about Grandma Tarwater and all she met to us...we went to a relatives house for the reunion, the weather was perfect, the wind blew, so it made it nice for the weather and the bugs...we spent the night in Salida, about 30 minutes from the reunion.

Then we drove on Sunday to Jamestown, we walked around and looked at all the old buildings, they were pretty and the oleanders were in their glory.

Oleander

Went Jamestown railroad yard

Drove thru Sonora

on the way home we went thru Oakhurst, and the thunder clouds were so white against the sky

saw these 2 old cars when we stopped for a drink
